Selling Your Pinellas Home – Your Stuff Is A Mess
If you’re selling your Pinellas home and your stuff is a mess, we have got some creative ways to declutter.
We all live with our own sprawl- the crowded counter tops and jammed closets and haphazard pantries. We get to a point where we don’t even notice it! But if you are serious about selling your home, you must do an honest and ruthless clean up.This HGTV clip is a great example of how a lot of creativity and a little money go a long way toward making a home more salable.
If you’re pressed for time or money or both, here are some quick but effective decluttering tips to help with selling your Pinellas home:
- Clear your horizontal spaces such as shelves, bookcases and tables. Put back one or two items. Store the rest.
- Remove personal items such as family photos from front rooms. You want potential buyers to visualize themselves there, not you!
- Store or toss tools, extras and junk you don’t regularly use. Put the rest out of sight or on attractive organizing racks.
- Make use of decorative bins, baskets and fabric covered boxes in harmonizing colors. Use them to store floor and shelf items (CDs, remotes, notebooks, toiletries).
- Remember, you are trying to sell your home, and if your stuff is a mess, you will have a much harder time. Use these creative ways to decluttering and staging your home!
